How much does a smart dashcam cost with Fleetalyse?
The Queclink CV200 costs £250.00 inc VAT, paid once in the shop. It also needs a Fleetalyse Pro subscription, from £6.00 a month (£215.99 paid upfront for 36 months, or £7.99 for a single month). All prices include VAT.
Can I put the dashcam on the Essential plan?
No. The CV200 needs Pro, which is the Fleetalyse plan that includes cameras, or HGV Pro. When you register a dashcam in the Customer Portal, those are the only two plans it offers.
Does the dashcam come with a SIM card?
Not yet. For now you fit your own nano-size 4G data SIM, with an allowance that has room for video. Our tracker IoT SIM isn't suitable because its allowance is sized for position reports. A Fleetalyse dashcam data SIM is on the way.
Do you fit the dashcams?
We don't arrange fitting. You can fit the CV200 yourself or ask your own installer, and we'll help either of you by phone or email. It's hard-wired at the fuse box, so if that isn't something you've done before, use an auto electrician.
Does the CV200 film the driver?
Not out of the box. It has one camera, facing the road. There's a socket for one extra camera, such as Queclink's cab, rear or cargo cameras (all 720p). Driver monitoring needs Queclink's separate DMS camera and a licence key.
Is the CV200 really an AI dashcam?
It can be. Queclink's ADAS warnings (forward collision, headway monitoring and pedestrian collision) run from the road camera, but they are a paid Queclink option that is switched on camera by camera. If you need them, ask us before you order.
What happens when the vehicle loses signal?
The camera carries on recording to its microSD card. It also holds up to 10,000 tracking reports in memory while it has no signal, so the trip can be filled in when it reconnects.
Will it work in an HGV?
Yes. It runs on anything from 8 to 32 V, so 24 V trucks are as easy as 12 V vans. It mounts on the windscreen behind the mirror, and our dashcam placement guide covers where you're allowed to put it.
