It runs from 10-30 V DC, so it suits 12 V and 24 V vehicles, and an internal resettable fuse and a 33 V clamp protect it. The status LED lights or flashes when CAN data is present, so the fitter can confirm it is reading the bus before closing up.

This listing is for order code ECAN02000001: two new Teltonika ECAN02 contactless CAN adapters and two power wires in one pack, so a quantity of one gives you two adapters. The ECAN02 closes around the vehicle's CAN High and CAN Low wires, reads the CAN bus through their insulation and passes the signal to a Teltonika tracker or CAN adapter. It is not a tracker itself: it has no GPS, no SIM and no mobile connection.
Choose the ECAN02 when you want CAN data such as fuel level or odometer from a vehicle whose wiring you would rather not cut. Which parameters you actually get depends on the vehicle and on the tracker or CAN adapter, so check the vehicle first. It is rated IP41, so fit it in a dry place such as behind the dashboard, and have it installed by a professional auto-electrician or telematics fitter. The ECAN02 is not yet on our supported-device list; ask us before connecting it to Fleetalyse.
