LTE-Mwith NB-IoT and 2G fallback
Before you order, check that your SIM provider gives LTE-M access (Vodafone, O2 or EE in the UK) or NB-IoT access (Vodafone or O2). The tracker uses these IoT versions of LTE, not the LTE Cat 1 of the FMC003.
The Fleetalyse IoT SIM add-on is not specified for LTE-M or NB-IoT. Without either, the tracker falls back to 2G, which UK networks are scheduled to switch off from 2029.

Yes, in its IoT form. The FMM003 uses LTE Cat M1 and NB-IoT with 2G fallback, rather than the LTE Cat 1 of the FMC003. In the UK, Cat M1 runs on Vodafone, O2 and EE and NB-IoT on Vodafone and O2, so your SIM must support LTE-M or NB-IoT; without it the tracker falls back to 2G, which UK networks are scheduled to switch off from 2029 (EE, O2) into 2030 (Vodafone).
Self-install, no fitter needed. Open the cover with a plastic pry tool, fit a Micro-SIM with the PIN request disabled, connect the internal battery, refit the cover and plug the unit into the OBD-II socket. The Micro-USB cable and the 0.25 m power cable in the box are for configuring it on the bench. If the socket is awkward to reach or already in use, Teltonika lists OBD-II extension and Y-splitter cables, sold separately.
It is not the right SIM for this model. The FMM003 needs UK LTE-M or NB-IoT access for its main network, and the Fleetalyse IoT SIM is not specified for either, so at best the tracker would fall back to 2G, which UK networks are scheduled to switch off from 2029. Choose a SIM whose provider confirms LTE-M or NB-IoT access, or, to use the Fleetalyse IoT SIM, choose the LTE Cat 1 FMC003, which reads the same kind of OBD data.
On supported vehicles, yes: it reads OEM fuel level, odometer and up to 32 on-board parameters over OBD-II. Teltonika's FMx003 supported-vehicle list covers more than 1,550 vehicles, but what is available depends on make and model, so check your vehicles on the list before relying on it.
On supported EVs, yes: it reports battery charge, state of health and remaining range, and Teltonika's FMx003 list includes more than 150 EVs. Teltonika recommends the OBD Non-Compliant mode for EVs, so set that when you configure the tracker for one.
