The tracker ships with Teltonika factory firmware and default settings, not configured for Fleetalyse. You fit your own IoT or M2M SIM, set the server and APN with Teltonika's configuration tool, and point it at whichever telematics platform you use. The ATC774 is not yet on the Fleetalyse supported-device list, so if you want it on Fleetalyse, ask us through the bring-your-own-device device check before you rely on it.

Yes. This EU version of the ATC774 is 4G LTE Cat 1 only (B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28) and takes a Nano-SIM. With no 2G fallback, the UK 2G switch-off scheduled from 2029 (EE, O2) into 2030 (Vodafone) does not affect it, but where 4G coverage is weak there is no older network to fall back to.

No wiring and no fitter needed. Lever off the top cover with a flat screwdriver, fit a Nano-SIM, switch the tracker on and press the cover back until it sits flush. Set the APN and server with Teltonika's TCT on a Windows 10/11 64-bit PC over USB-C (cable not included), or with FOTA WEB, before it goes on the asset, because it cannot be reached by SMS or GPRS while it sleeps. Then screw it to the asset through its two mounting slots (screws not supplied); Teltonika lists magnetic mounting as still in development.

Teltonika rates this primary-battery version for up to 10 years, depending on how it is set to report and the conditions it works in. Out of the box it makes one location record every 24 hours and sleeps at 10 µA in between; reporting more often shortens the life. Treat 10 years as the most to expect with infrequent reporting such as the default once a day, not a promise at any setting.

No. This version runs on a primary 8800 mAh lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) battery, and Teltonika is clear that a primary cell must never be charged. Teltonika also makes a rechargeable ATC774 with a 3200 mAh Li-ion battery, but that is a different hardware version and the two battery types are not interchangeable.

Assets with no power supply that you need to find rather than follow: shipping and site containers, skips, unpowered trailers and plant. It reports on a schedule rather than live, has no inputs for fuel or CAN data and no driver-behaviour features, and its Bluetooth sensor support is still in development at Teltonika. For something you need to follow minute by minute, fit a wired tracker to the vehicle that tows or carries it.
