Cat M1and NB-IoT, 2G fallback
The Quectel BG95-M3 modem runs LTE Cat M1 and NB-IoT on UK bands B1, B3, B8 and B20 (there is no B7), with 2G as a fallback. Many standard data SIMs are enabled for neither LTE-M nor NB-IoT, so confirm yours before fitting.
After the 2G switch-off (from 2029 into 2030) it depends on LTE-M or NB-IoT coverage. For standard 4G LTE, choose the FMC130.
3+3inputs / outputs
Three digital inputs (two of them can read analogue signals instead), three outputs and a 1-Wire bus take ignition sensing, an impulse fuel-flow meter, temperature probes, an iButton driver ID reader and an immobiliser relay.
Wired with the supplied 12-pin cable and a 3 A external fuse. Relays, readers and sensors are not included; use a professional fitter.

It draws under 3 mA in Ultra Deep Sleep, under 5 mA in Deep Sleep and under 11 mA in Online Deep Sleep at 12 V, so a vehicle left standing loses little charge to the tracker.
170 mAhbackup battery
Green driving, over-speeding, excessive idling and crash detection are built in, and towing, unplug and jamming detection flag interference. Jamming detection is supported on the BG95-M3 hardware this order code uses.
The 170 mAh battery is a short-term backup that lets it report a power cut. With it fitted, the working range is -20 to +40 °C.
1CAN-adapter input
There is no CAN bus inside, but an LV-CAN200 or ALL-CAN300 adapter on the dedicated input, or a Bluetooth OBDII dongle, reads fuel level and the vehicle odometer. An impulse fuel-flow meter wires straight into DIN1 or DIN2.
Adapters and dongles are sold separately, and the data available depends on the vehicle.

The FMM130 uses LTE Cat M1 and NB-IoT, the low-power IoT versions of 4G, with 2G fallback, so your SIM must support LTE-M or NB-IoT in the UK (Cat M1 runs on Vodafone, O2 and EE; NB-IoT on Vodafone and O2). After the UK 2G switch-off, scheduled from 2029 (EE, O2) into 2030 (Vodafone), it relies on that coverage alone; for standard 4G LTE Cat 1, choose the FMC130.
It is hardwired with the supplied 12-pin input/output cable: permanent power and ground, ignition on DIN1 and any inputs or outputs you need, with a 3 A external fuse at the battery or main fuse-box feed. With the power disconnected, open the case to fit the Micro-SIM and connect the internal battery, then mount it behind the dashboard near the windscreen with the engraved side facing up. Teltonika says only qualified personnel should connect it, so use a professional fitter.
Yes. The SIM must be enabled for LTE-M (Cat M1) or NB-IoT on UK networks, and many standard data SIMs are not, so confirm it with your SIM provider before you fit it. The Fleetalyse IoT SIM add-on is not sold as an LTE-M or NB-IoT SIM; if you want to use it, choose the FMC130 instead.
For most buyers, the FMC130: it uses standard LTE Cat 1, covers UK band B7 as well, and works with an ordinary LTE data SIM. The FMM130 suits fleets already running LTE-M or NB-IoT SIMs, and it draws less in Online Deep Sleep (under 11 mA against under 16 mA). Both have the same inputs, outputs, 1-Wire and Bluetooth.
Not on its own, because it has no built-in CAN. Fuel level and odometer need an LV-CAN200 or ALL-CAN300 adapter on its CAN-adapter input or a Bluetooth OBDII dongle, sold separately. Without one, an impulse fuel-flow meter on DIN1 or DIN2 measures fuel use, and the GNSS fuel counter gives an estimate.
