4Bluetooth scenarios
Bluetooth 5.4 LE picks up Teltonika EYE Sensor and EYE Beacon broadcasts, so a sensor in the load space needs no cable back to the cab.
EYE sensors and beacons are sold separately, and your platform must decode their data.
The EYE Sensor temperature and humidity scenario records conditions in a refrigerated or temperature-sensitive van together with where the van was at the time.
Insulated and metal bodies shorten Bluetooth range, so test the link from the load space to the cab.
With a magnet on the door, EYE Sensor magnet detection shows whether a door is open or shut, and activity monitoring reports when the sensor moves.
Test the magnet position on each vehicle before relying on it.

It is the Bluetooth model of Teltonika's compact FT-platform 4G range and a newer-generation sibling of the FMC920, sold as hardware only with no SIM card supplied and no Fleetalyse platform lock.
Choose this unlocked no-SIM version when you want to configure the APN, SIM provider and tracking platform yourself, on a platform that supports the FTC924 and decodes EYE sensor data. The FTC924 is not yet on our supported-device list; ask us before connecting it to Fleetalyse.

The tracker ships with Teltonika factory firmware and default settings, not configured for Fleetalyse. You fit your own IoT or M2M SIM, set the server and APN with Teltonika's configuration tool, and point it at whichever telematics platform you use. The FTC924 is not yet on the Fleetalyse supported-device list, so if you want it on Fleetalyse, ask us through the bring-your-own-device device check before you rely on it.

Yes. The FTC924 is 4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback, and this EU version covers B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28, including all the main UK bands, so it keeps working after the UK 2G switch-off scheduled from 2029. It also has Bluetooth 5.4 LE for Teltonika EYE sensors and beacons.
It is hardwired with the supplied 0.7 m cable: permanent 10-30 V power, ground, the yellow ignition wire and, if needed, the white output and the grey input. Teltonika specifies a 3 A external fuse on the power line and recommends taking power from the main feed in the fuse box, with ground to the vehicle frame. Mount it inside the vehicle under the plastic panel behind the windscreen, label side towards the sky and within Bluetooth range of any EYE sensors. A competent auto-electrician should fit it.
The Teltonika EYE Sensor and EYE Beacon, which Teltonika lists as its supported peripherals. With the EYE Sensor it supports temperature and humidity monitoring, magnet detection (door open or shut, with a magnet on the door) and activity monitoring. Sensors are sold separately and the platform you connect to must decode their data. For the EN12830-certified EYE Sensor, Teltonika documents tracker support only for its FM-series trackers, so check that version with your platform before relying on it.
Teltonika's datasheet v1.0 lists over-speeding, jamming and unplug detection and trip reporting for the FTC924. Crash detection, eco driving, towing and geofence scenarios appear on Teltonika's shared wiki for its FT range, so confirm them on the shipped firmware before you rely on them. If crash data matters most, the FTC920 and FTC921 list crash detection in their datasheets.
Teltonika publishes no IP rating for it, so treat it as an in-cab device: fit it behind trim inside the vehicle, within Bluetooth range of the sensors.
