The tracker ships with Teltonika factory firmware and default settings, not configured for Fleetalyse. You fit your own IoT or M2M SIM, set the server and APN with Teltonika's configuration tool, and point it at whichever telematics platform you use. If you later want it on Fleetalyse, bring-your-own-device takes it from £5.99 a month.

Yes. The FMC150 is 4G LTE Cat 1 and covers the UK LTE bands (B1, B3, B7, B8 and B20). It also falls back to 2G, which UK networks have scheduled to switch off from 2029 (EE, O2) into 2030 (Vodafone); after that it runs on 4G alone.

A professional fitter hard-wires it with the supplied cable to a permanent 10-30 V feed through an external fuse, ground, ignition and the vehicle CAN wires, using Teltonika's vehicle-specific connection scheme or the OBD-port CAN pins. Where splicing is not wanted, an ECAN02 contactless adapter can be used, though some parameters are then not received. The installer fits the Micro-SIM and connects the backup battery with all power disconnected, then fixes the unit firmly in a limited-access spot inside the cab. On the Tacho versions, CAN2 is also wired to the tachograph.

All four use the same FMC150 hardware; they differ in the CAN parameter package and whether Teltonika's tacho firmware is loaded. Standard CAN (FMC150UAU801) reads the standard set: dashboard fuel level, fuel used, speed, distance, RPM and pedal position. Tacho (FMC150DDU801) adds tachograph download support to that standard set. Extended CAN (FMC150UAJ501) adds Teltonika's Extended parameters, such as engine hours, AdBlue level, axle loads and gear, with no tacho support. Extended CAN + Tacho (FMC150DDJ501) has both. Tachograph download needs a supported tachograph (VDO DTCO 4.0 or later, or Stoneridge SE5000 release 8.0 or later), company-card authentication through Teltonika TachoSync or a compatible server, and a platform that handles FMx150 tacho files. Every value, standard or extended, appears only where the vehicle carries it.

No. The FMC150 is supported on the Fleetalyse tracking platform, but our remote tachograph download runs on the FMC650 with an HGV Pro plan. On the FMC150 Tacho versions, the files go to Teltonika TachoSync, which authenticates with company-card reader software on one company PC, or to another compatible tachograph server.

It depends on the make, model and year. Teltonika keeps an FMX150 supported-vehicles list, and AutoScan (firmware 04.01.00.Rev.08 or later and CAN chip 00_02.06.01 or later, run through FOTA WEB) can identify a vehicle's parameters automatically, though it cannot promise every value on a vehicle that is not on the list. Typical standard data is dashboard fuel level, total fuel used, wheel speed, distance, RPM and pedal position, and on supported EVs high-voltage battery charge level.
