The 1000 mAh battery is far larger than the usual backup cell. Teltonika rates it for up to eight days of operation once external power is lost, so an unhitched trailer or a vehicle with the battery pulled is still on the map.

Dust-tight and sealed against immersion to one metre, with a two-stage catch you can open by hand. It is made for a trailer chassis or exposed plant, not just a dry dashboard.
