A small 4G tracker that takes its power from the OBD port: in the vehicle in seconds, with crash and driving alerts, but it does not read vehicle data.
It takes its power from the OBD-II socket under the dashboard, so there are no wires to splice and no fitter to book. Moving it to another car or van takes seconds.
A plug-in tracker is easy for a thief to find and unplug. For covert theft recovery, choose a hidden wired tracker.
The OBD-II plug carries power and ground only, so the tracker cannot see the fuel gauge, odometer or fault codes. Fuel use is estimated from GNSS movement, and mileage is measured from GNSS trips.
For the vehicle's own odometer and fuel level, choose the FMM003 or the FMC003.

Its LTE Cat 1 radio covers B1, B3, B7, B8 and B20, the bands UK networks use, with 2G only as a fallback, so the 2G switch-off scheduled from 2029 does not leave it without a network.
Bluetooth 4.0 + LE connects Teltonika EYE Sensors, for temperature, humidity, magnet and movement data, and EYE Beacons, with no extra wiring.

Choose this unlocked no-SIM version when you want to configure the APN, SIM provider and tracking platform yourself. The FMC800 is also supported on the Fleetalyse tracking platform, so you can move it to Fleetalyse later with bring-your-own-device.

Yes. The FMC800 is 4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback, and its LTE bands cover the main UK networks, so it keeps working after the UK 2G switch-off, which the networks have scheduled from 2029.
Self-install, no fitter needed. Open the cover with a plastic pry tool, fit a Micro-SIM with the PIN request disabled, connect the internal battery, refit the cover and plug the unit into the vehicle's OBD-II socket; switch the ignition off before you unplug it again. The 0.25 m power cable in the box is only for powering it on the bench while you configure it from a PC. If the unit would get in the driver's way, Teltonika lists an OBD-II extension cable, sold separately.
No. It uses the OBD-II socket for power only, and Teltonika lists no OBD data protocols for it. Fuel figures come from the GNSS Fuel Counter, an estimate, and mileage comes from GNSS trips. If you need the vehicle's own odometer, fuel level or fault codes, choose the FMM003 or the FMC003.
Not on its own. It raises unplug, towing and jamming alerts, but an OBD plug-in unit is easy to find and pull out, and its 170 mAh backup battery gives only limited reporting after that. For covert stolen-vehicle recovery, choose a hidden wired tracker such as the FMC920.
It logs each trip from GNSS, but Teltonika documents no private/business mode for the FMC800, so journeys have to be classified in your tracking platform. If you need the vehicle's own odometer reading, the FMM003 and FMC003 read it on supported vehicles.
