The tracker ships with Teltonika factory firmware and default settings, not configured for Fleetalyse. You fit your own IoT or M2M SIM, set the server and APN with Teltonika's configuration tool, and point it at whichever telematics platform you use. The FTC134 is not yet on the Fleetalyse supported-device list, so if you want it on Fleetalyse, ask us through the bring-your-own-device device check before you rely on it.

Yes, the FTC134 is 4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback. The EU version covers LTE B1/B3/B5/B8/B20/B28 but not B7, so in the UK it uses B1, B3, B8 and B20. Its 4G link is unaffected by the UK 2G switch-off, scheduled from 2029 (EE, O2) into 2030 (Vodafone).

It is hard-wired through the supplied 12-pin harness: a permanent 8-32 V feed through a 3 A fuse, ground and ignition on DIN1, with the other inputs, outputs and 1-Wire connected as the job needs. During setup, open the cover, insert the nano-SIM with the power off, fit the supplied 320 mAh battery and configure it over USB-C before closing. It is IP41, so mount it inside the cab or in an enclosure. Teltonika says only qualified personnel should connect it, so use a professional fitter.

Do not buy it for CAN data. The datasheet mentions a software-defined CAN pin pair, but Teltonika documents no CAN adapter set-up for this model, so we do not sell it as a CAN or fuel-from-CAN tracker. Teltonika's accessories page does show an analogue fuel gauge read through an analogue input, which a fitter has to wire in; that is a sender reading, not CAN data.

Yes, two ways. Its 1-Wire bus reads up to five Dallas temperature probes in sequence, wired in by a fitter, and Bluetooth LE reads Teltonika EYE sensors with no wiring. Probes and sensors are sold separately.

No. It is rated IP41, and Teltonika describes it as susceptible to water and humidity, so fit it inside the cab or in a sealed enclosure. For exposed mounting, the FTC164 has more inputs and outputs in an IP69K case.
