Why choose the FMC650

The professional terminal for trucks: it talks to the tachograph and the vehicle CAN bus, so compliance files and real fuel data come off the vehicle on their own.

Tachograph files without a depot visit

Connected to the tachograph, it downloads driver card and vehicle unit files over the air on a Fleetalyse HGV Pro plan. It works with the tachographs in UK fleets today, including VDO DTCO 1381, Stoneridge SE5000, Intellic EFAS-4 and Smart Tachograph version 2.

Needs a compatible tachograph connection made at installation. The standard OEM wiring harness is included; optional FMS and easy-install cables are sold separately. Choose the lead appropriate for the vehicle and tachograph.

Reads the truck, not just the road

2CAN interfaces

Two CAN interfaces with J1939, plus J1708 and K-line, give real fuel level and consumption, true odometer, engine hours and fault codes. That is what turns a fuel report from an estimate into a measurement.

Everything else on the vehicle plugs in too

How much is the unlocked FMC650?

£116.99 inc VAT (£97.49 ex VAT) with free UK delivery. That is the hardware only: no SIM, no subscription and no lock to any platform.

Which wiring harness or cable is included with the FMC650?

Standard OEM wiring harness included with both the Fleetalyse-ready and unlocked FMC650. FMS and easy-install cables are optional paid extras, not included in the tracker price. Select an optional cable on this page to add it to your basket, or buy the FMS cable or easy-install tachograph cable separately. Installation labour is not included. Check the vehicle, FMS interface and tachograph compatibility before selecting a lead.

What does "unlocked" mean here?

The tracker ships with Teltonika factory firmware and default settings, not configured for Fleetalyse. You fit your own IoT or M2M SIM, set the server and APN with Teltonika's configuration tool, and point it at whichever telematics platform you use. If you later want it on Fleetalyse, bring-your-own-device takes it from £5.99 a month.

Which SIM card do I need?

Any IoT/M2M SIM with an APN you can set. If you would rather not shop around, add the Fleetalyse IoT SIM on this page: it comes as a 3-in-1 card with roaming in up to 135 countries.

Is the FMC650 4G?

Yes. The FMC650 is 4G LTE Cat 1 with 2G fallback, so it keeps working through and beyond the UK 2G switch-off, which the networks have scheduled from 2029.

How is it installed?

Professional installation is required: connect power, ground and ignition using the included standard OEM wiring harness, then arrange the CAN/FMS and tachograph connections needed for your vehicle and chosen features. Optional FMS and easy-install cables are sold separately and are not included in the tracker price. Remote download through FMS works only where the vehicle provides the required signal; otherwise a direct tachograph connection is needed. Check tachograph compatibility, platform configuration and company-card authentication before ordering.

Is there a discount for buying more than one?

Yes, automatically at the basket: 3% off 3+, 5% off 5+, 10% off 10+ units. The discount applies to the hardware in the same order, and it stacks with a referral or promotional code.

How quickly will it arrive?

UK delivery is free and goes by Royal Mail 24. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are normally dispatched the next working day, and Royal Mail 24 usually arrives the working day after that, so most UK orders land within two working days. What warranty does it carry, and what if it is not right for us?

Every unit is new, boxed Teltonika stock with the manufacturer's 24-month warranty. Consumers have 14 days to return an unused device under our returns policy, and business customers can talk to us before ordering if they want to check fit on one vehicle first.
