No, the FMT100 is 2G only. UK networks have published 2G switch-off dates from 2029 (EE and O2) into 2030 (Vodafone), so it suits vehicles you expect to replace within three to four years or short-term hire. For anything staying on the fleet longer, choose the 4G version.
Two ring terminals straight onto the battery, and it is done. There is no ignition wire; the unit works out trips from movement. The IP65 casing is fine in an engine bay or on plant machinery.
